We LOVE strawberries!
Our last post was about homemade candied ginger and syrup for ginger soda. We’re on quite a fizzy drink kick lately, so today I’m going to show you how to make syrup for strawberry soda. Yum! The best part is, you’ll know exactly what you’re drinking, which is so much better than high fructose corn syrup and artificial coloring.
I recently visited Underwood Family Farms and left with all kinds of produce, some of which you saw in this post. I also brought home a ton of strawberries, some of which my friends and I picked ourselves! Many of them were perfect for dipping in chocolate or snacking on as-is. But I made sure to reserve a LOT of them for something special. In fact, I had so many that I’m going to share the strawberry ice cream I made in a separate post.
